Goodwill climbing on an artificial wall:

“Goodwill climbing on an artificial wall” is the title of the project that we carried out as part of the action called Spring day.  Three primary schools were invited to participate and we found a very good response. During the morning we were mixing with pupils and teachers of the primary schools from Cerklje, Preddvor and Naklo. There were sixty-two pupils and eight teachers taking part in this project.

The pupils not only got acquainted with the primary elements of sport climbing but also tried their hand at climbing. The safety of pupils was taken care of by the Mountain-climbing section Kranj. Although this was the first experience in sport climbing for many pupils, they were enthusiastic and very persistent.

The teachers estimated the project extremely positively as well. So the aim for the next year is to exchange pupils and teachers of the schools that will cooperate within this project. We expect this would enable them to learn something new, gain more skill and experience new challenges.
